Cornbow Location Map

Getting Here

Halesowen is located within the West Midlands just off the M5 motorway and close to Birmingham (11km/7miles), Bromsgrove (16km/10 miles), Dudley (10km/6 miles) and Stourbridge (10km/6miles).

Leave the M5 motorway at junction 3 and take the A456 to Halesowen.  Take the third exit at the next island and, travelling through the redevelopment work, filter left onto the Queensway before the traffic lights.

Parking in Halesowen/ASDA

The Cornbow centre and ASDA store have a brand new multi-storey car park (opened November 2008) which provides direct access into the shopping centre.

With 600 spaces (approximately 50% more than the previous car park), a better layout and disabled access, as well as improved security and lighting, you are sure to find a spot.

Parking costs 50p an hour in the brand new car park up to a maximum three hour stay. If you spend over £5.00 in ASDA then you will get a refund on your parking.

From the Pool Road multi-storey car park, please walk down the High Street towards the Hagley Mall entrance to the centre.

Rail

Old Hill station is 3km/2miles north of the centre and Birmingham New Street is 11km/7 miles east of Halesowen.

Old Hill serves the local network, including Stourbridge and Birmingham Moor Street, while Birmingham New Street serves the national network.

Bus

A network of bus routes serves the surrounding area with journey times from Birmingham of approximately 25 minutes.

By Christmas 2008, a brand new, state-of-the-art bus station will open adjacent to the centre.  In the meantime buses are available from the Queensway (behind the pool).

Air

Birmingham Airport is approximately 26km/16.5 miles east of Halesowen and provides domestic and European flights.
