Gamestation win TNCA - September 10, 2008

Gamestation, which opened on the Hagley Mall in Halesowen’s Cornbow shopping centre in April this year, has been awarded the centre’s Top Notch Contribution Award.

The award recognises individuals and retailers who contribute to the Cornbow community and the ongoing development of Halesowen.

Amanda Hodgetts, acting Cornbow centre manager, says:  “On their very first day in the centre, the Gamestation team were full of enthusiasm, promotional ideas and positive thinking. 

“We’ve seen that passion for customer and community experience grow over the past few months and we wanted to recognise the efforts that the store team have made to provide a destination shopping experience for the younger generation.”

Sam Hill, Gamestation store manager in Halesowen, says:  “Gamestation is one of the fastest-growing retailers of video and computer games in the UK – with over 240 stores across the country.

“We were excited to be opening in Halesowen at this time of great change and development.  We are looking forward to the completion of the development works in the coming months and the boost that the new ASDA store and Sunday trading hours will give to the town.”
